Official Biography:
Rochella was born in New York City. She's first generation American, but tries to hold on to her Russian roots, speaking the language fluently. Ever since she was a little girl, Rochella loved to perform; from her family, to her friends, and always dreamed of being on stage like the stars she admired on TV. Singing came like a second nature to her, and she never took her talent for granted. Every chance she got she sang and danced her heart out. Throughout her years in Livingston, NJ, she performed in school talent shows, choruses and benefits, and constantly exercised her gift. She has a constant passion for writing; from poems to lyrics. She was writing songs as early as the age of 8. As a little girl, she had an enormous voice; whoever had heard her sing was always astounded. Rochella has a great ear for music. At the young age of 7, she could play almost any song she heard once on the piano completely by ear. Her dream lived on and singing was always her top priority. When people would ask her what she wanted to be when she grew up, she said a singer, because that's what she believed she lived for. Ro is extremely devoted to the group. She contributes with her strong vocals and imaginative vision. She is a hard worker when it comes to Candy Coated Chaos, and no doubt a perfectionist. She belives that the harder you work, the more likely success will come to you. Rochella loves working with Britt and Steph in the studio and outside of it. The years she has devoted to this group will certainly lay the foundation for a long and prosperous career in a business that does not allow you to become a star, you must be born one.
